Tique travels: Wine Country!

Morgan and I have been desperate for a little getaway, especially with as crazy as life has been lately! My husband, Ryan, works in the wine industry and just so happened to have a Napa/Sonoma work trip on the books, so we decided to fly out west to meet up with him at the tail end of his trip. Was it the most relaxing? Nope. But was it a blast? You know it!IMG_1890

First stop: Roche tasting room located in the town of Sonoma. As you can see above, we hated their wine. Sike! It was delicious. This was the perfect spot to get our feet wet before heading to all of the vineyards. Morgan was wearing our Chill Out Tee and I'm in the Coachella Fever Denim Jacketroche2roche

After our tasting at Roche, we headed to the hotel, dropped our bags and drove up the mountain to Woodenhead. This vineyard was quaint, homey and absolutely beautiful. Imagine having a wine tasting in your living room. We showed up right before they closed so the manager ended up giving us a hayride down the mountain to meet our Uber. Now that's service!

Morgan wore our Queen of Pops Tank and Clean Slate Bells I was in the Chase the Sun Top. How cute is our crew?!

We then decided to switch up the wine with some craft beer tastings from Russian River Brewing Co. Had no idea we were stumbling into their "happy hour" so all beers ended up being half off and we weren't mad about it!

As you can see, there was no shortage of beer options and their pizza was to DIE for. The guys would argue that the wings were even better.

We started day 2 off with a some bubbly from a little winery called Iron Horse. We enjoyed our tasting outside overlooking the mountains of Sonoma. This little gem was the perfect mix of rustic & elegant. Bummer we weren't there on a Sunday to enjoy the oysters!

After we'd gotten back on the horse, Iron Horse to be exactwe headed to Copain. This place was BEAUTIFUL and ended up being the group favorite. They're known for their red wines. The Pinot Noir was on point as was everything else we had from here. They even accompanied their wine tasting with charcuterie plates for each of us, which was our saving grace!IMG_1772

Morgan wore our Summer Whites Overall Dress with the Way of the World Turtleneck and I wore our King Street Maxi. Sonoma was a little chillier than we wanted it to be, but we couldn't sacrifice our style!

After Copain, we then headed into downtown Healdsburg to hear some live music and check out their scene. This town was filled with open-air tasting rooms and breweries. We stumbled into the cutest little tapas restaurant, Chalkboard, for dinner.

After {what felt like} a ten course meal, we headed back to the hotel and crashed...HARD.

Our last day on the West Coast was spent in San Francisco. We had do the obligatory pic in front of the Golden Gate Bridge since this was my first time being in SF.IMG_1777

As you can see, it was justttt a little windy, but such a gorgeous day. My outfit deets: Roman Holiday Tank (sold out), Coconuts Over White Skinnies and our Kick Back Flats in Taupe...I wore these shoes the entire trip. Most comfortable flats and we have them in 3 colors {Taupe, Brown & Black.}
