Hi everyone, it's Brooke again! Let me just start off by saying how much I LOVE coordinating my outfit for any holiday. No seriously, I start planning at least a month in advance (I call it a talent, my friends call me crazy). So, naturally, as soon as items such as, Star of the Show Shorts and Land of the Free Tee came in, I was thinking of millions of ways to style them up for the 4th! Below I'll give you some outfit ideas and let you in on a mini photoshoot we did with the Tique owners + online staff.
1. How cute are they? 2. How cute are their 4th outfits!? These outfits are perfect for that party you were invited to with all your friends. They can be dressed up with jewelry and heels, or down with light jewelry and sandals.
Allie, e-commerce coordinator, is wearing one of our newest (and cutest) tops! The (Knot)ical Babe Top looks great with white bells or shorts and is loose enough to give you that extra room for eating + drinking! Let's be honest hamburgers, hotdogs and a brew is a must for that 4th of July cookout.
Morgan, co-owner of Vestique, is rocking the overall trend. If you're loving this trend as much as we are, you need the Field Party Overalls (they are seriously the most comfortable pair I've tried on yet)! Style them with an off the shoulder top like Morgan, or dress it down with a tee. Gingham + overalls are two of the biggest trends this Summer, so basically, she killed it (and you can too)!
Brynn, creative intern, is wearing the Stripe Hype Romper and the name does NOT disappoint. This year, we're all about the stripes, and it's the perfect outfit for the 4th. Whether you're going to a casual BBQ or party with your friends, you're sure to show them what the hype is all about.
Caroline, co-owner of Vestique, is a serious babe in the Boardwalk Nights Romper. If you're feeling really festive, throw on a red neck scarf and create that perfect 4th of July color scheme. Spending the holiday at the beach? This romper should definitely be in your bag. It's one of our favorites because it features the off-the-shoulder trend, but also gives you straps for more stability.
Last, but certainly not least, Adair, brand director of the 'Tique, is wearing a staff favorite. This "Holiday in the Hampton's Jumpsuit" is currently sold out online (sad, I know), but give one of our stores a call, and hopefully you'll have some luck! She paired this jumpsuit with a blue neck scarf to stay with the blue color scheme, but if you want to add some color and more festivity, add a red one like Caroline. If you are one of the lucky girls who snagged this jumpsuit before we sold out, you should definitely be wearing this on the 4th, and tag us in your pics. (:
Wondering where I am? Don't worry I had my minute of fame in front of the camera! Below, I am
wearing dancing in the Beaches and Bonfires Romper, and I can't even explain to you how much I am obsessed with it. It's so comfy, and the tie in the front gives it that extra sass that I (and you) need in an outfit.
RED, WHITE, & CASUAL
If you are a jean shorts and tee girl like me, the outfits below are for you! I'm all about the comfort and versatility within these pieces. Any of these tops and bottoms can be switched around to fit your own style, and can definitely be worn after the 4th of July.
The scarf trend is in full force this year and we're taking FULL advantage of it! Not only can you wear it around your neck, but you can tie it around your wrist, or wear it in your hair. It's our new go-to accessory! Both of these shirts above are perfect for the 4th or a causal day on the town. We paired them with denim shorts, but you can pair them with skirts, overalls, or jeans - it's all about your own style! The biggest perk about both tops is the versatility of them, you really can't go wrong with a comfy tee.
Outfit goals! Am I right?! The Highway to Havana Shorts are destroyed in all the right ways to add some edge to that 4th of July party you're going to. White crops are a staff favorite right now, especially our newest edition, Eyelet on You Crop. This top is coming soon online, but you can buy it in stores today. You should definitely be an outfit repeater in this one- wear it with a red scarf for the 4th, and wear it again for that music festival you're attending soon!!
As I mentioned earlier, I am huge on dressing for the occasion, so as soon as I saw the Star of the Show Shorts I knew they were coming home with me for Independence Day. We have SO many tops I wanted to pair them with, but I went with the off the shoulder trend to add some sass to the outfit. We are almost sold out online of the Day Party Crop, but have tons of other tops that would look just as cute (especially our newest off-the-shoulder top, Poms in Paradise).
I hope I could give you some 4th of July outfit inspo. And I can't wait to see what you come up with.
Have a happy 4th! XOXO
