Tique Pups Spotlight: Bogart, Omaha and Slugger

Tomorrow night is the night. I write this with butterflies in my tummy and Bogart sitting on my lap. I've been waiting my entire life for this event... okay, so maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I have been looking forward to this event ever since we began planning back in early Spring. Truth be told, the idea has been around much longer it just took the perfect timing for all the pieces to fall into place. And it finally has.

My love for animals is undeniable. I love them all, I really do. It's going to be extremely hard for me to attend an adoption event and not leave without one, but I already have three of my own {never say never, though}. My little brood {the Flack Pack}, is full of food grubbin', belly rub lovin', white fluffy monsters.

Meet OMAHA:

IMG_0576Omaha is a 7-year-old lab. He's the sweetest and most gentle "big boy" you'll ever meet, he's actually just a big 'ol baby. His favorite hobby is snuggling REALLY close {he is only satisfied if he is actually on top of you}. Omaha goes by the nicknames "Mee's," "Omie-ha," and "Mee-ha."  Isn't it weird how nicknames come about? These are definitely out of left field. Speaking of left field, Omaha is named after the home of the College World Series -- his daddy played there.

Meet SLUGGER:

Slugger is a 4-year-old labradoodle. He's more cat than dog, in that he definitely has 9 lives and it's safe to say he has used at least 4 of them.  Slugger has racked up vet bills that cost more than most people's cars... but his mommy {me} says that's what credit cards are for. Slugger goes by the nicknames "Slug-bug," "Bug," and "Bug-bug." Slugger's favorite hobby is digging through the laundry and oftentimes eating said laundry.

Meet BOGART:

FullSizeRenderBogart is a 9-year-young maltese. He may have only one eye, but he can spot food a mile away. You may recognize Bogart if you shop at Vestique in Charlotte, Columbia or Greenville, as he visits the three locations regularly. Bogart goes by the nicknames "Mr. Perfect," "Bogey," "Gart," and "Marshmallow Cloud." Bogart's favorite hobby {besides eating} is definitely a good 'ol belly rub. If you see him in the store, bring him a treat and ask him to sit, speak and roll-over. He loves to do tricks.

Now that you've met my fur-family, how bad do you want a fur-baby of your own? If you are thinking about adding a fur-ball to your home, or just want to support an amazing organization, please stop by tomorrow night for our Rescue to Runway fashion show. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are available online here.
