Spring Break Style: New York City

Hey, Kaitlyn here! I'm one of Vestique's interns for the Spring. I'm so excited for my first blog post! I'm going to be talking Spring Break Style and what I'm packing for my trip to New York City. Typically Spring Break has me thinking of the beach, warm weather, and bikinis, but this year I'm doing something different. I won't come back with a tan, but I'm really excited to share with you what I'm going to be bringing with me on my trip...Vestique takes the Big Apple!

Outfit One: Travel Chic

Being comfy, cozy, and warm is my biggest priority when flying. Dressing in layers is key, but I wanted something cute enough to wear around the city for brunch and sightseeing when I land! I chose to layer up with the Solstice Cardigan, Love Ya Bunches Top in Black, Light Washed Cuffed Denim (my favs!) and I threw on the Native Spirit Necklace for the finishing touch. If the plane is freezing I will be set with my cozy sweater, and for the chilly temps in the city.

Outfit Two: A Day in the City

I plan on doing a lot of shopping while I'm in New York, so I need an outfit that is trendy that will take me from 5th Avenue, to the Highline (to take artsy Insta pics of course) and to Little Italy for a yummy dinner! Fuzzy coats are on trend and a fashion blogger fav, so what better place to rock it than shopping in New York City?! I chose to layer the London Proper Coat in Olive with Unwind Tunic in Taupe and my trusty Light Wash Cuffed Denims. The Ice Ice Baby Necklace was the perfect finishing touch!

Outfit Three: Night Out

Everyone who goes to New York has to see a Broadway show, and in this romper you will be the best dressed there! The minute I saw this romper I fell in love. I have an affinity for anything white and lace so I couldn't pass this number up. It works great now in chilly temps with our Buckhead Booties and a fuzzy coat, or wear it in the spring with wedges and a fun clutch. New Yorkers are notorious for black...so why not break the rules and stand out in this romper?

I can't wait to wear this for spring--perfect for sorority functions!

So there's my packing list for Spring Break! Can't wait to jetset to the Big Apple next week!

xoxo, Kaitlyn
