Engagement Shoot: What I Wore

Just got my engagement pics back from Julie Livingston and was blown away. If you're in the process of getting married and looking for a photographer, she's your girl. I've known Julie for a long time and somehow her work just keeps getting better and better. She's also probably the sweetest person I've ever met, and was able to turn what I thought was going to be an awkward afternoon with Ryan (+ pictures) into one of the best days I've ever had.

When deciding on what to wear, Julie gave me some good advice. She told me to wear some sort of color so the pictures would really pop. As a bride, I wanted to drift towards the whites and off whites, but stuck with Julie's advice and she was definitely right. I also didn't want to wear anything too trendy that I'd look back on and regret. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wanted these pictures to be somewhat timeless

I decided to do two looks: A dressier look followed by a more laid back look...both Vestique of course.

First outfit:
Rolling in the Deep Dress - $36.50 - Also available in Olive & Black
Captain Planet Necklace in Taupe - $21.50 - Also available in Charcoal, White & Turquoise
Shoes are sold out, but very similar to the Buckhead Bootie - $32.50
Can you believe this whole outfit is only $90.50? Pretty awesome, right?!
Second outfit:
Blue Moon Chambray Top - $42 - more sizes available in-store
Shoes are sold out, but very similar to the Buckhead Bootie - $32.50
A few bloopers for your viewing pleasure:

Stay tuned as I'll be posting more of my bride-to-be outfits from upcoming showers. Also, be sure to email me if you have any specific styling questions regarding outfits leading up to your big day. I'd love to help!
