All American Bach Bash

This past week has been a whirlwind! Caroline and I traveled to our Raleigh/Cary locations for a few days and then I headed up to our nation's capital for Independence Day.

Normally, my ideal 4th consists of sun, sand and adult beverages. This year was really no different, except for the lack of sand. My gorgeous friend, Sarah, just so happened to have her "All American Bach Bash" in D.C. on July 4th weekend and let me tell you--it was one for the books! If you're in the process of planning a bachelorette party and need a theme, this one is fabulous.

I hadn't been to D.C. in 6 years and after all the fun I had in the District, I will see to it that it doesn't take me so long to get up there again.

We had an absolute blast...from morning runs by the White House, to fancy dinners on the waterfront, to dancing until 3 in Georgetown...a celebrity sighting during our final brunch was the perfect way to kiss D.C. goodbye until next time. Here's a glimpse at our weekend in pictures.

We spent the actual 4th lounging by the pool at our hotel. We were the best dressed [in all of our USA glory] for sure.

After the pool, we got cleaned up and headed to Sequoia on the Potomac. From our table we had a dynamite view of the fireworks (no pun intended).  Do you recognize some of our outfits? Mine was Vestique from last year but perfect for our red, white and blue themed night.

Unfortunately, we have no photos from Saturday afternoon because most of the day was spent recovering from our wild Friday night out, but we managed to get it together and make it to our dinner reservations at Blue Duck Tavern later that evening. If you are heading to or live in D.C. and haven't tried this place, it's excellent. The service was like nothing I have experienced before and the food was delicious. Several of us wore Vestique so we had to snap a photo.
Danielle (far left) is wearing the Basic Beauty Top, Courtney (3rd from left) is wearing our Heart of a Gypsy Maxi, Sarah (the stunning bride-to-be in the middle) is wearing bow shorts from last year, I'm wearing two of our brand new arrivals--both will be coming out this week (YOU NEED THIS TOP!) and Lindsay (to my right) is wearing our Midnight Stroll Dress.

Now, excuse me while I go to bed before 10 p.m.! I've gotta get all the sleep I missed this weekend.

Hope your 4th was just as unforgettable! We loved seeing your pictures!
