We’re back from Folly…a little sun burnt…a little over hung and a lot exhausted. What a weekend it was. There’s never a dull moment with our crowd [understatement of the year!]. I wish we could do girls weekends once a month but since our busy schedules trump that idea, we’ve made a promise to do them annually at the very least. I know one old lady (cough, yours truly) that is going to be recovering for quite a while.
Side story from our hellish car ride home: It took me and Caroline SIX hours to get home from Charleston. Between crazy traffic, a few missed turns and one serious case of motion sickness (at least that’s what I’m calling it), it was a car ride for the books. I don’t think I’ve ever felt worse.
Here’s a little taste of what our weekend looked like:
At least these are the only pictures that I’d want my mom & dad to see..and the last one’s a little questionable. I’ve definitely got the “probably shouldn’t have another margarita” look going on.
P.S. I love how pretty much every single girl has vestique on! Like my purple poncho? It’s coming soon…so stay tuned.
P.S.S. In case you haven’t heard, our little city of Raleigh was hit by a pretty devastating tornado while we were out of town. Luckily, our house was spared but lots of others in and around downtown Raleigh were not so lucky. Please pray for those impacted by the storm. Our hearts go out to you!
