Two weekends ago, NC State played Carolina in football. I’m not even going to boast about our big win—because our loss last weekend was so disappointing. But let’s get serious…every State fan absolutely loves to beat the Tarheels at home.

My company sponsored the game so I spent some time up in the Chancellor’s box and was forced to wear neutral colors.  I don’t even look like I’m going to a football game in this picture.  I am however wearing the SUPER cute “Little Drummer Girl” cropped tan blazer. I just love that thing! I’m also wearing one of our new purses. We just got that in both black and pewter and they are both too.die.for. They will hit the site very soon—as in tonight, so get on and get ya one!

At the game, I noticed that the Carolina girls were all wearing different shades of blue. Some were quite a stretch…I saw a few ladies trying to pass turquoise off for Carolina blue and some wearing no blue at all but cheering for the heels.

I realized right then and there how lucky us Wolfpack girls are…red is so prevalent. I can almost always find SOMETHING red/black and cute to wear to games (eventhough I still spend most gameday mornings in my closet pouting that I don’t own enough red—it’s like you can never have too much of that beautiful color). But it’s really a difficult feat to find authentic Carolina blue gameday attire—that is also fashionable.  So, I made it my mission to find something for my Carolina gals.  We may not like your team, but we like you! I literally squeeled when I found the long-sleeve, Carolina blue dress above.  It is so cute that I would ALMOST wear it myself, but I can’t for fear that I’ll get a swirly from one of my State-fan friends. If you don’t know what a swirly is, here’s the urban dictionary def:

The process of sticking someone’s head in the toilet and flushing.

So have at it, Carolina girls!  P.S. We’ve already sold a couple—so hurry! Wouldn’t want you to miss out.
